Values

A sense of adventure

International teaching is supposed to be a lot fun. While we want to convey a balanced picture of what going international means, we essentially believe that it’s worth doing.

Solidarity

As a teacher, you’ve entered into the best profession ever. The content we make aims to help, support and empower our fellow practitioners – whatever continent they happen to be on.

Independence

The content we produce reflects the opinions genuinely held by the writers. We do not create content on behalf of schools, recruiters, or any other third parties.

Inclusion

As international teachers, we are curious in equal measure about a) the cultural diversity that exists in the world and b) the common threads that unite us all as human beings. We do not discriminate against any single group.

Respecting Privacy

We freely voice concerns and frustrations, but we do so sensitively and constructively, and in relation to systems or practices. We do not name specific individuals or schools. Grievances against individual persons or schools need to be taken elsewhere.
